I have never hidden the fact that I am not a fan of stainless steel mesh wicks. I do, however, like genesis style atomizers because they work great on the truck since they are not susceptible to leaking from changing elevations. Thus I have tried everything from silica wicks to cotton auto dripper builds trying to get the best performance out of these devices. Every now and then I would build another stainless wick just for shits and giggles but nothing seemed to top the performance I get out of silica wicks. Ladies and Gentlemen, the Curvamizer is a game changer. This build makes mesh wicks so easy, and they perform better than on any other genny that I have. Let's take a closer look at this thing and see why.
We're giving away a Smoktech Bolt to help you start vaping right in 2013.
One of the most common frustrations of people who are attempting to switch from analog cigarettes to the electronic ones is battery life. Unless you have a passthrough or a personal charging case, it can be difficult to keep a fresh battery around when you are on the go. And of course, if you run out of batteries when you are out and about, you will be very tempted to stop and pick up a pack of smokes. Recently, I was able to get one heck of a deal on a Smoktech Bolt, and since I already have my preferred vaping devices, I decided to pass it along to one of our lucky readers. If you are a vaper that is frustrated with short battery life, than perhaps this is the device for you.
First off, let's start with how you win. Because this contest will be held in conjunction with VaperSpace.com, you will need to be a member of that site to enter the contest. Once you have joined up, you will need to submit a picture of yourself with your current e-cig in this forum post. If you are shy, no worries. Just post a pic of your device. If you have not yet made the switch to electronic cigarettes, that is fine too. Just post a picture of you with your analog cigarette.
Images that are posted to the forum will then be posted by an administrator into our Smokey and the Bandwidth Facebook group. There, members will be able to "like" the pictures, and whichever picture has the most "likes" on January 1st 2013 will win the contest. In the event that there is a tie, we will use a random number generator to select the winner, and in the event of this happening pictures will be numbered in the order in which they were received.
Now, for what you will be winning. What we are giving away is...
- 1 Smoktech Bolt with extender cap
- 2 Protected Li Ion 2000 mah 18650 TrustFire batteries
- 1 single bay charger
- 1 Smoktech Screw Tank
- 1 510 atomizer
- 5 blank (empty) 510 SR Cartomizers
- 2 drip tips
- 1 small eGo style carrying case.
Here is the kit with all of its contents pictured below. This is the exact kit that the winner will be receiving, not a stock photo.
As you can see here, the device that we are offering is the Black Chrome or Gun Metal Black style. Everything in the kit is brand new and acquired specifically for this contest.
For those who are not familiar with this device, it is a very simple tube mod. It is simply a metal case for the battery with a button to activate the device. There are no lights, menus, or settings on it. It will vape at the voltage to which the battery inserted is charged. Thus, on a full charge it will vape at 4.2 volts and it will drop off from there down to as low as 3.5 volts before it needs to be charged. Because none of the battery power is wasted on led screens or lights, you will get a very long life out of these batteries before they need to be recharged. Moderate to heavy vapers can expect to get a day and a half to two days off of a single charge.
As always, users should familiarize themselves with Lithium Ion batteries before using them to ensure that they are aware of the potential hazards of these devices and how to safely use them. Furthermore, I would recommend that the winner of this device consider purchasing some IMR batteries when it comes time to replace these as they tend to be a safer battery. Of course, that is entirely up to the winner of the contest who will assume all risks of using the device. It should also be noted that this device is designed to be used along with a liquid that contains nicotine, and therefore you must be 18 yrs of age or older to enter and or win the contest. Furthermore, due to regulations on the international shipment of Li Ion batteries, this contest is only open to residents of the United States.
