So, you're out there on the road trucking and you run out of supplies for your electronic cigarette or something breaks. It has happened to all of us truckers who also vape, and it can be a nightmare. So what is a driver to do? If you have a Rand McNally Intelliroute TND we now have a Vapor Shop POI directory to help you out. Just download this directory to your computer (below) and then upload it to your TND Dock software. Plug in your GPS with it powered on, and it will give you the option to import this POI directory to your GPS. This will give you a list of 50 vapor shops that carry everything from your favorite e-liquids to batteries, atomizers, and more.

Before we get to the download, let's give some credit. This file is not my creation, but is the work of MikeJM from Vaper Space. It is not a complete listing of vapor shops, but rather a partial list based on his larger file for the Tom Tom GPS. His complete directory for other units can be found here, and is a much larger list that I have been working on converting for the Rand McNally. I did not compile this list myself, so I cannot guarantee the accuracy of the list and it should be used at your own discretion. This is not a list of vapor shops with truck parking, so you should call ahead before trying to access the store directly in your semi truck.

The above list are the stores that have been reformatted for the Rand McNally, but the actual list that can be downloaded below contains many other stops that have not yet been formatted. They list is in .csv format so it will work with many other units. When uploading the list to your Rand McNally device, the shops that have not yet been reformatted will give an error message, but ignore it. I hope you will find this file useful, and I may attempt to complete the reformatting of the entire list at a later date if enough people show interest. At the moment, this was good enough for me.

Instructions for Rand McNally TND

1. Click the download link below.
2. Unzip the folder.
3. Open your TND Dock Software.
4. Click the "Add Your Own POI" icon.
5. Click the "POI" icon.
6. Find the "Vape Shops.csv" file from the .zip file that you downloaded to your computer and double click or click "Open".
7. Connect your GPS unit with the unit turned on. It will find the file and ask you if you want to import custom poi. Click import.
8. Ignore the error messages and allow the file to finish. When it is done, the POI Directory will appear on your device under "Custom POI" sub-directory "Vape Shops".
9. Enjoy.
