A vape shop with trucker access in Bradenton Fl.
For whatever reason, vape shops near a truck stop are a little hard to come by in the state of Florida. Vapin Lizards has been at this location for some time now, and I've noticed them sitting over there on my way to pick up loads at Tropicana in Bradenton, but it took me some time to stop in and see what they had to offer. This is largely because the Circle K across the street where you can park a truck at has very limited parking. That being said, if you get in there during the late morning or early afternoon hours you can generally find somewhere to park so you can walk over and check out the vape shop.
Vapin Lizards in Bradenton Florida is located just west of Interstate 75 at the junction of Florida 64 at exit 220. If you're heading north on I75, that would be exit 220B. Just take the exit and head west to the Circle K truck stop on the left hand side. Turn left and go in the back entrance and you can park in the driveway around the back of the lot or in the truck parking area on the east side of the station. There are about 5 parking spaces at the east end, and room to park another 4 or 5 trucks in the driveway. Just as a heads up, there are no parking signs in the driveway but management has informed me that this is simply so they can tow a truck if it is blocking the driveway. They do not tow you out if trucks can get by you. I have personally also parked along the edge of the driveway and never had a problem.
Once you park, you will see Vapin Lizards in the plaza directly across the street from the truck stop. You can get there by walking either east or west to the traffic light, where there is a crosswalk or you can take your chances crossing the very busy street right there without the crosswalk.
Once you get settled in and parked, and over to the vape shop, you'll find that they have a decent selection of e-liquids and gear to offer. Here are the brands of e-liquid that they stock.
- House blend up to 24mg of nicotine
- Micro Brew Vapor
- Jam Monster
- The Drip Company
- Dinner Lady
- The Vaper's Knoll
- Killa Clouds
- King Of The Cloud
- Shijin Vapor
- The Hype
- Fresh Squeezed
- Infinite Ohms
- Vape Pink
- Blue Moon Hemp
- Khali Vapors
- Moon Mountain
- Cloud Culture
Not a crazy selection, but a decent number of manufacturers to choose from. They also have had crazy discounts on overstocked e-liquid flavors each time I have been there. I got a 60ml bottle of Strawberry Custard from Dinner Lady for $10 last time I was there. Ok, I bought 3 of them. For that price, who wouldn't? Another good thing for me personally about their selection is that they do have some good tobacco flavors. Try out the Cherry Tobacco from Moon Mountain if you like that whole Swisher Sweets kind of thing, although it is more of a cherry pipe tobacco like a Cavendish. Either way, it's a really good flavor.
As for their hardware, they have a lot of starter kits and sub ohm tank style setups. Most of the typical names and brands of the business, but not a lot to offer for those looking for high end gear. Here are the hardware brands that they carry.
- 528 Customs
- Vaperz Cloud
- H Cigar
So yes, they carry the sub ohm coils and pods you need to keep your gear going from the above listed manufacturers. It's not an overwhelming selection, but it is enough to make them worth the stop. They do carry the Goon and a few offerings from Vaperz Cloud if you're looking for a higher quality dripper. Other than that, it's pretty much the standard stuff you see at most vape shops that trucks can access outside of the state of Florida.
I mention that last part because of where we started. Vape shop selections for truckers in Florida are pretty limited, so for the area this is one of the better stops I have found. They are more likely to have what you are looking for at Vapin Lizards in Bradenton Florida than they are at the other listings I have in this directory for the state of Florida. They also have a friendly and helpful staff if you are new to vaping and just looking to get started.
The biggest problem with this shop is the difficulty of finding truck parking. As mentioned, it is very limited. If you're thinking of stopping at 2am to take your 10 hour break there at the Circle K and go over to the vape shop when they open, forget about it. There won't be any parking. If it's around lunch time and you want to swing by and pick up some supplies on your 30 minute break, that will work.
