Truck Stop Vapor Shop
e-Titan Vapors, Grand Island Ne
There's not a lot of excitement to be found in trucking across Nebraska. If you've never been, you're not missing much. It's flat as a pancake, full of farm land, and pretty much a boring drive. Thus, travelers have the urge to stop and the truck stops along I 80 know they have to compete for your business. Enter the Bosselman Travel Center in Grand Island Nebraska. It's got all of the amenities drivers are looking for, to now include a vapor shop. That's right, it doesn't get much more convenient than being located right there inside the fuel island entrance to the truck stop. Just walk in and turn left and there you are.
Since the shop is located in the truck stop off of I 80 at exit 312, there aren't really any directions needed. Walking distance depends strictly on your parking space, and you were probably headed inside anyway. Don't get too excited though, there is a catch.
The strong point of this vape shop is convenience. While they are not open 24 hours, if you intend to stop after closing time you can call ahead and place your order. You will have to pay by credit card over the phone, but they will then leave your order with the fuel island attendant and you can pick it up whenever you get there. Not bad, huh? And while their selection is pretty small, they do have a local vape shop in addition to the truck stop location. Thus, if you need something that they don't have at the truck stop they can call the local shop who will deliver to them at the truck stop assuming they carry the item there. Again, pretty convenient, so what is the catch?
This shop only carries their house line of e-liquids, and in my opinion they aren't very good. I have sampled 5 or 6 of their flavors and they range from decent to awful. That being said, I have talked to a couple of drivers who get through there weekly and swear by their juices. A few of them told me they are the only liquids they vape. Could it be that if they tried another line that would change? I don't know. Perhaps they aren't that bad and they just aren't my "thing", but be advised. Try the small bottles before you indulge.
When this shop first opened a few years back, the prices were atrocious and the girl that ran the shop was obnoxious. Both of these issues have been resolved. The staff is friendly and helpful and prices are fair for a brick and mortar location. They carry a small but current line of hardware to include the following brands.
- Smok
- Joyetech
- Eleaf
- Council of Vapor
- Wismec
- Innokin
- Aspire
- UD
Selection kind of comes and goes, so you will see other manufacturers represented from time to time, but these seem to be the standard brands they carry. No high end gear is available at this location.
Would I recommend driving out of your way to come visit this shop? Not at all. However, if you're traveling through Nebraska and you're sick of looking at the corn fields, swing on in and check them out. They have enough decent stuff to offer that they are certainly worth a look see, and you can't beat the convenience.
