The Vapor Place
Small but cool vape shop near a truck stop.
I'm not going to spend a ton of time on this shop since it is a vape shop with limited selection, but it is still a nice little shop with a large lounge and a friendly staff. It's about a half mile from the truck stop with sidewalks the whole way, so it is a nice and easy walk from the Pilot in Ontario Oregon, weather permitting of course. Let's take a look at who they are and what they have to offer.
First, I want to stress that this is a very easy walk from the truck stop. On my way, a really strange thing happened to me, but it must be an Oregon thing. I decided to cross the main road at some point (completely unnecessary for the trip) at an intersection where there was no crosswalk light. I was standing at the crosswalk wondering why this approaching car was driving so slowly. I looked to the right, and the same phenomenon was occurring with a car coming in the opposite direction. I then realized that the cars were stopping for me to cross the road. Apparently, this is a local thing there. You couldn't get hit by a car if you tried to. If you show event the slightest inclination to have a thought about potentially crossing the road at some point in the near future, traffic stops to await your final decision. Pretty cool. Now, back to business.

Truck parking is available at the Pilot Travel Center off of Interstate 84 located at exit 376. From the truck stop, you will walk south on the main road for roughly one half mile. Immediately after crossing US 30, you will see The Vapor Place on the same side of the road as the truck stop. Very easy walk, takes about 10 minutes.
As I mentioned, selection is limited at this vape shop. I'm going to list the brands, and you will notice that the list is short. Additionally, there isn't a wide selection of models inside the brands. This is more of a shop to pick up a bottle of juice, batteries, or replacement coils than it is to look for a new device to add to your collection. If you're a brand new vaper starting out, you should be able to find you a decent starter kit here, but if you're experienced they might not have anything you want to add to your collection. Here is what they have to offer.
Devices:
- Teslacigs
- Sigelei
- Uwell
- eLeaf
- Kanger
Liquids:
- Teardrip
- Asylum
- Bomb Sauce
- Hometown Hero
- American Vapor Group
As you see, selection is pretty limited. Prices were fair though, and the customer service was pretty good. The employees were friendly and they helped me find a custard liquid that was actually pretty good. If you're in the area and you need some supplies, or you're just board and want to hang out at their vape lounge, walk on down and give them a try.
