Doc's Vape Escape

on Tuesday, 04 April 2017. Views: 2828 Posted in South East, Vapor Shops

Difficult access, great shop.

Doc's Vape Escape

This is my preferred local shop, and it is a great one. That having been said, truck access isn't easy with this shop. In fact, they haven't been listed until today because I didn't realize they had a parking lot out back and I wouldn't even send a bobtail to their front parking lot as it is a busy street and the lot is short and tight for a truck. When I ran by the shop today the owner showed me the back lot where in theory one could park a truck and trailer. However, the ally is a dead end so you won't be able to get out. If you are more adventurous than I, you could get in there with a truck and trailer but I don't recommend it. For that reason, this shop will be listed as a bobtail only with instructions on how to do what I don't recommend if necessary.

Preferred directions:

Next time you're traveling through Cookeville Tennessee, stop at exit 288 on Interstate 40 and park at the Super Truck and Travel Center. You can generally find parking 24 hours a day there, and you can also drop your trailer to run into town. From there, get back on 40 going West and take the next exit which is 287 and turn right. You're going to go about 2 miles into town. When you see Hobby Lobby on your left, get into your left hand lane. You'll see Doc's Vape Escape on your left hand side a block or two down. Go past the store and take the first left, then turn down the first alley behind them. There's a parking lot on the back side of the building there where you can park your tractor.

Option 1 with a trailer.

Follow the above directions (minus dropping your trailer) and park in the large lot at the Hobby Lobby and walk down. I don't recommend this because you know how it goes. If truckers make a habit of doing this the owners might start calling to have trucks towed out of there, but it is an option in a clutch.

Option 2 with a trailer.

Allow me to stress that I do not recommend this. Is that clear? Good. Now, follow the above directions to the point of passing the shop and turning left. Instead of turning down the first alley on your left, take the second one. Right after turning down that alley you will see another alley that you can turn left on. After turning left there will be a shopping plaza right there on your right. You can either pull off on the side at the end of that alley or you can go to the end and turn left, then back down into the lot behind Doc's Vape Escape. It's going to be a hassle, but it can be done, I just don't recommend it.

Now with all of this hassle, the shop had better be worth it, right? The are. See the pictures below. They carry a wide variety of tanks, liquids, and devices for vapers at every level of the game. They have very reasonable prices and an extremely helpful and knowledgeable staff.

This shop does not have a house brand of e-liquids, but they do carry an extensive lineup of gourmet selections from the following suppliers.

  1. Vape Pink
  2. Fresh Squeezed
  3. Cotto's Revenge
  4. FAQ
  5. Blue Eyed Vapor
  6. Sicboy
  7. Formal
  8. Boba
  9. Jam Monster
  10. The Pier
  11. Atomizer Fuel
  12. Five Pawns
  13. Hometown Hero
  14. Naked
  15. Apollo (Available in strengths up to 18mg)
  16. And more.

With a wide selection of e-liquids like that, it's enough of a reason to stop by and check them out if you get the chance. There's more. These guys carry a wide selection of gear from the following manufacturers, including some high end gear as you will see from some of the fist manufacturers on the list.

  1. Vaping AMP
  2. Kennedy
  3. Craving Vapor (Hexohm)
  4. Comp Vape
  5. Council of Vapor
  6. Limitless
  7. Flawless
  8. Smok
  9. Aspire
  10. Eleaf
  11. Innokin
  12. Tobecco
  13. Wismec
  14. iJoy
  15. Pioneer4u
  16. Nitecore
  17. Efest
  18. Samsung
  19. LG

As you can see, this shop is begging for a premier listing on the site, but I can't do that because of the difficulties drivers will experience in accessing the shop. That having been said, if you get in town and you can bobtail, uber, taxi, hitchhike, or whatever you have to do to get there you won't be disappointed. I've been to a ton of shops across the country and this is one of the better ones out there.
