Sam Vapor & Tobacco

Written by Steve Parry on Friday, 21 August 2015. Views: 5119 Posted in South East, Vapor Shops

Mocksville NC Vape Shop with truck access.

Some of you guys are going to freak out about this, but so be it. Yes, they sell vape gear and (wait for it) cigarettes. Well, more accurately tobacco of all kinds. Now that we got that out of the way, did I mention they sell vape gear? Pretty decent stuff too, and the prices aren't unreasonably high. The guy that runs the shop is really friendly, and he will cut the prices for you too if you're buying a bunch of stuff. First, let's get to how to get there and where to park and then I'll talk about what he has to offer.

OKL T/20 Mod Chip Review

on Saturday, 21 March 2015. Views: 4026 Posted in Advanced

The 3.5 to 5.5 volt 110 chip from Murata Power Solutions.

OKL T/20 Mod Chip Review

There is a lot of confusing and misleading information about mods that are running this chip out there, so I figured I would try to clear the air on this one for you and tell you what I know based on using and researching the mod. I will try to dispel some of the false information, and also clear the air on some of the "protection" features of this chip. This information is based largely on daily use, and in part on me pushing the device to find out what I needed to know to pass the information on to you. It is important to point out that no wicks were burnt during the gathering and dissemination of this information. Fair enough? Good. Let's proceed.

A6 Atomizer Review

on Monday, 05 May 2014. Views: 5151 Posted in Advanced

A tiny dripper that packs a big punch.

A6 Atomizer Review
Tiny atomizer, big attitude.

I've had this one sitting around for awhile and I finally decided to post something on it. This is a tricky little atomizer to talk about because it has some good points and some bad points, and it's upside is also it's downside. We'll get to that in a minute here, but first off let's get to what it is. It is a tiny little dripping atomizer that is set up for dual coils. It has 3 posts (one positive and two negative) and dual air holes in the cap. The air holes are a little small, but as I have done here they can be easily drilled out. The atomizer is available in Stainless Steel (the one used in this review) or aluminum. It is basically the diameter of an eGo battery at 14.25 mm.

An Open Letter To My Ex

Written by Steve Parry on Friday, 25 April 2014. Views: 4703 Posted in Rants

Hang in there, I'm going somewhere with this.

An Open Letter To My Ex

Dear Ex, I know I'm the last person you want to hear from. It's been years since we were an item, and you have a new life now. Let me assure you that I am not trying to change that. I'm writing you because of some bad treatment that my brother has reported suffering at your hands. First let me say that I understand that I am not a very good guy. To complicate matters, I was absolutely terrible for you. That having been said, it is not fair to punish him for the bad things that I did to you. You have successfully driven me out of your life, and even got many of your friends and family to abandon me as well. Fair enough, I probably deserve that. My brother does not.

iTaste MVP 2.0 Review

Written by Steve Parry on Sunday, 02 March 2014. Views: 24615 Posted in Intermediate

Time to step up from those eGos.

iTaste MVP 2.0 Review

At some point in time, most vapers have owned an eGo or an Evod. Chances are they will advance to a twist or a spinner. While these are a step up, there are still some serious limitations to these devices. If you find yourself at this point and you are ready to move on, the iTaste MVP is a reasonably priced option that you might want to look into. Recently I won one of these devices in a contest over at Dirty Heathens, so I decided to do a quick review on it to get a feel for what it is all about and see if it is the next logical step in vaping. With both variable voltage and variable wattage, it has what most vapers are looking for in a device, but is it worth the money? First let's look at the specs on this device.

Stigx Electronic Cigarette Review

Written by Steve Parry on Thursday, 27 February 2014. Views: 15368 Posted in Intermediate

A very solid starter kit that is sure to please.

Stigx Electronic Cigarette Review

This electronic cigarette was sent to me by the folks over at Stigx. They are a company based out of the Netherlands and offer a line of eliquids and the electronic cigarette featured in this review. They advertise free shipping on all orders over $25 (I'm not sure that that applies to international shipments) and from my experience, their shipping time to the U.S. is about 5 days. The e-cig is available in black, silver, and white and the one sent to me for purposes of review is the white model. The clearomizer is eGo threaded and will not work with a standard 510 connection but the battery has both eGo and 510 threading, so standard 510 threaded devices will work with the battery.

The AGA TD Dual Coil Rebuildable Atomizer

Written by Steve Parry on Sunday, 06 October 2013. Views: 31705 Posted in Advanced

This is the beast of the AGA family.

The AGA TD Dual Coil Rebuildable Atomizer

First off let me start out by thanking the people over at My Vapor Store for this awesome atomizer. This wasn't sent to me for the purpose of a review but I did receive it free of charge. I had recently purchased the AGA T2 from the same place, and I make a helluva lot of purchases from them as they supply most of the things I need. So when I ordered my ProTank II from them I explained how I was "back door" dual coiling my T2 and would they be so kind as to comp me the TD? It never hurts to ask, right? They replied by thanking me for being a loyal customer and they informed me that they had added one to my order at no charge. So now that it is here, let's review it.

EonSmoke Electronic Cigarette Review

Written by Steve Parry on Wednesday, 02 October 2013. Views: 27013 Posted in Beginner

The 808 starter kit and disposables.

EonSmoke Electronic Cigarette Review

When the folks over at EonSmoke hit me up about reviewing their product I was put off a little at first by the prospect of reviewing this kit. It is, of course, a beginner style kit featuring 808 threaded batteries and cartomizers. What did really interest me about their product, however, was their disposable line. These are the smaller "king size" e-cigs that do not feature a rechargeable battery. They come in a small plastic case so you can use them and put them back in your pocket. This makes them a really nice option for the smoker that needs an e-cig to get them through a night at the bar or a social situation where smoking is not allowed or frowned upon. So I decided to check out there product, and here is what I found.

Phiniac Tanks Review and How To

Written by Steve Parry on Sunday, 29 September 2013. Views: 26851 Posted in Intermediate

Phiniac tanks. They work as good as they look.

Phiniac Tanks Review and How To

In the world of carto tanks there are plenty of options to choose from. I've noticed recently that even the folks over at House of Hybrids (makers of Zenesis) have gotten in on the action with the Zenesis Carto Tank Hybrid. But what separates a great tank from a piece of junk? First, it needs to be made from a material that won't break down in your liquid altering the flavor of your juice and leading to eventual cracking in your tank. It also needs to form a tight seal both around the cartomizer and the tank tube. But to be a great tank, it also needs to look good. Phiniac has mastered the art of making a great tank that performs well and looks great on your device. Let's take a look at the features.

The Vamo Review

Written by Steve Parry on Sunday, 07 April 2013. Views: 22678 Posted in Advanced

Or "The Bamboo" as it is called where I purchased it.

The Vamo Review
The Vamo, or Bamboo.

A few months back I decided to get the Zmax when the version 2 came out offering the two power modes. When I got that, I started to love my dual coil tanks again because it had the power to push those cartos to full potential. After a few months, the button started to get funky on the Zmax, and I began to worry about the device taking a dump on me while I was out on the road. I still have my Lambo 4.0 but I knew I wouldn't be satisfied with that. I wanted an AnyVape CVI, but due to the recall you couldn't get one. I was reading some good things about the Vamo and I happened to stop by Indy Vapor Shop and they had some in stock, so I picked one up from them (under the name Bamboo).

The V2 Electronic Cigarette Review

Written by Steve Parry on Saturday, 06 April 2013. Views: 25272 Posted in Beginner

A solid little 808 e-cigarette that outperforms expectations.

The V2 Electronic Cigarette Review

It has been a long journey down the path of vaping for me, and it all started with the old school Njoy Npro. I played around with some other over-the-counter gas station special e-cigs before eventually getting serious and deciding to step up to a better way of vaping. I did a lot of research and eventually settled on the V2 electronic cigarette. I chose them based on positive reviews I had read and the wide variety of available flavors to choose from. I started out with the deluxe starter kit that included 3 batteries, a charging case, and a passthru. I didn't plan to quit smoking entirely at the time, but that is precisely what happened. Let's take a look at the kit that got me there.

Mountain Oak Vapors Customer Service

on Monday, 04 March 2013. Views: 57095 Posted in Reviews, Rants

They didn't do it. Nobody saw them do it. I can't prove anything.

Mountain Oak Vapors Customer Service

I recently placed an order from Mountain Oak Vapors Premium Tennessee E-Liquid in hopes of trying out some of their flavors. Those of you who follow my blogs or videos or know me from Vaper Space know that I am a fan of tobacco flavors, but my girlfriend Ramona is not. She prefers fruit and sweet flavors, so this was more for her than it was for me. I also saw that they had a better price on the Vamo than did Indy Vapor Shop so I decided to pick one of those up from them as well. The best laid plans, right?

My Vapor Store; Fast Shipping At A Whole New Level

on Monday, 10 December 2012. Views: 42289 Posted in Vapor Shops, Online Shops

I wouldn't believe it if I hadn't seen it myself.

My Vapor Store; Fast Shipping At A Whole New Level

Any time a trucker says "You're not going to believe this" you should take him up on the offer. If I weren't coming to you with proof of this story, I wouldn't even bother bringing it to you at all. But like you would demand to see the ticket from the driver who got "Nailed out in El Paso for going 132 in a 55 and he let me off with a warning ticket" you should expect me to proof up this story, and I will. Nobody would throw that warning ticket in the trash, and I wouldn't let this opportunity slide without a screen shot. Am I building this story up too highly? Not at all. You have to understand the convergence of circumstances, dare I say the cosmic alignment that had to come together to allow this circumstance to happen. Who knows, I may have even discovered what the Mayans were predicting with their calendar.
