EVO E-Liquid Review
Testing out 3 flavors from EVO and NicoPure Labs.
Shortly after I bought my Who's Your Daddy tank from Big Daddy Vapors they began to sell Evo E-liquids and they started offering a free 10 ml bottle with each tank purchased. I missed my first shot at trying out their juice for free. No biggie. A couple of weeks ago I got a youtube message from NicoPure Labs telling me that they would like me to review their Evo Liquid. I didn't miss out on my second chance. They asked me what kind of flavors I liked and I told them mostly tobacco and occasionally fruit flavors like cherry. A week later I got a package in the mail from them with 3 bottles of liquid to review. They came, they steeped, now let's check them out.
These e-liquids were sent to me for the purposes of this review free of charge by NicoPure labs. I received no other product or payment for this review. As always, my review will reflect my honest opinion of the product that I received.
Now that we got that out of the way, here are my initial thoughts on the liquids. The bottles (two 10ml and 1 30ml) were all plastic, but they were good quality bottles. The 10ml bottles featured a drip top, while the 30ml bottle has a dropper. The liquids came with a tamper proof seal, a batch number for quality control, and a "Best If Used By" date. Before I get into the flavors, here is my general experience with the liquids flavor, vapor production, and throat hit.
- Vapor
- All of these liquids had excellent vapor production. I used the liquids across different types of atomizers and experienced the same solid performance with each device. I am unsure of the pg/vg levels of these liquids. I asked for that info but it was not disclosed, so I assume they do not release that info. I can say from experience that I believe these to be in the neighborhood of 40% to 50% vg.
- Flavor
- Each of the flavors that I received were consistent with the flavor advertised. They were also unique and quality flavors, not simple creations that were thrown together for the sake of filling a lineup.
- Throat Hit
- The throat hit was good across the board with these liquids. It was a little light with the one fruit flavored liquid, and very good with the two tobaccos. All of the liquids were sent to me at my preferred strength of 18mg of nicotine.
Now let's take a look at each of the liquids that I received. For each liquid I will give the name which will link to a place where it can be purchased. The link will not be to the people who sent it to me, as their website says "Coming Soon." Directly following the name will be a blue box featuring the description from the manufacturer. Following that will me my thoughts on the juice.
Maraschino Tobacco
This unique blend of dry medium-bodied tobacco is garnished with a gentle touch of delightfully sweet Maraschino cherry. This complex harmony of flavor is perfect for those seeking a dry tobacco blend with just a little something extra.
This is a very nice e-liquid. It is definitely a tobacco flavor with a nice candied cherry taste to it. That having been said, it is not really like a cherry cigar or pipe tobacco. More like a smooth and mellow cigarette tobacco. The longer I vaped this flavor the more I liked it. This is a nice change of pace for those that are growing tired of more traditional tobacco flavors.
Whisper
This light tobacco flavor offers a subtle combination of sweet tobacco with dried plum undertones. Delicately topped off with a touch of sweet caramel, this flavor is the perfect choice for those seeking lighter flavor in their tobacco e-liquid.
I don't like that description, and not because I got in wrong in the video either. I didn't read the description before I did the video, and I identified the flavors as "tobacco, caramel, and raisin." In actuality the fruit flavor I was getting is dried plum, but I was pretty close. I think that this speaks to how accurate their flavors are. But the "lighter flavor" is a bit misleading as far as I am concerned. If they mean a mellow tobacco, than I concede that. But this is a very solid and full bodied flavor. It is a very nice "RY4ish" flavor with just a hint of fruitiness on the exhale. The tobacco is mild. The caramel is not too sweet but sweet enough. The fruit is a background note that works very well with the liquid making this a very nice complex tobacco flavor. This is a "must try" for RY4 fans.
Berry Blast
Intense flavor blend of multiple berry varieties all rolled up into one.
This was another good flavor. It has more of a candy feel to it than fresh fruit, but there is a nice berry taste to it. I picked up on blueberries and strawberries and subtle background notes of other berry flavors. I expected it to be sweeter than it was, so it was certainly not to sweet for me. In fact, it may not be sweet enough for others. The throat hit was also light on this liquid. All of that being said, it was still a good juice.
Final Thoughts
I was pretty impressed with these e-liquids. They are not just another juice manufacturer pumping out flavors in hopes of luring in newbies and making a quick buck. These are solid flavors with excellent vapor production. I really enjoyed these and I want to thank the folks over at NicoPure for giving me the opportunity to do this review for them.
