Custom Mod Holders by 4WoodTurning
Hold your mod with a work of art.

How many times has it happened to you. You're vaping and watching tv or surfing the web. You set your mod down. You reach for it and bang, it falls over. A little while later someone walks by and bumps the table and bang, it falls over. Now of course, you could find a heavy cup and set your mod in that, but that is awkward. You could buy a tatroe base but then your mod has this massive disc on the bottom of it when you go to use it. So here is a viable alternative. How about a quality made wooden mod stand that looks good enough to be a part of your living room furniture? That is what you get with the mod stands from 4 Wood Turning.
Now before we get into all of the details, here is what you need to know about these bases.
- Price
- The base price for an eGo style e-cig is $20 and they go up from there. For a basic Vamo holder the price is around $35.
- Material
- These are made from wood. What type of wood and the finish applied to the wood is up to you and will change the price. Obviously rarer woods will be more expensive. The ones pictured are made of cherry and will not kill your wallet, although the one with the orbiting ring is a custom job and I would imagine a little costly.
- Quality
- These are a very fine quality. They are also very durable. I drive a truck and one of these is sitting beside me holding my Zmax as I type. Despite being left on the shelf (sometimes) while driving or being stored upside down in a cup holder (usually) there are no blemishes on it. They should survive nicely on your desk or coffee table.
- Finish
- There are several finishes available to suit your taste. These are polished and have a very nice shine to them. Overall the styling and finish of these make them incredibly detailed and beautiful.
These holders are made by Jeff Luedloff and his contact info is below for ordering or more specific pricing. I bumped into Jeff over at VaperSpace and I arranged a trade with him so I can't really tell you the specific prices on the ones that I have.
While each base is made for a specific mod, it will also fit any mod smaller. Obviously you want to order for your mod, but if you had say an AnyVape CVI and a Zmax if you ordered for the CVI which is larger it will hold the Zmax as well. The smaller mod will be a little lose in the holder but from my experience it will still be sturdy. One thing that I have noticed is that a wrapped mod will be a little tight in a holder designed for that mod unwrapped. It will still work but it will occasionally hang on to the mod when you pick it up. If you have a wrapped mod order up one size or let him know that so he can make it slightly larger for you.
Other than that, there isn't much to say about these. You can see the beauty and quality of them. I am absolutely satisfied with these holders and wouldn't want to be stuck without them. In a truck a falling mod goes to the floor, so as a guy that uses glass tanks I need to keep them sturdy and these absolutely do the job. You can check Jeff out over at 4WoodTurning and you can contact him via his site for more information. Below are the detailed images of the mod holders that I got from him.
