Recoil Rebel Squonker Review

Written by Steve Parry on Monday, 27 November 2017. Views: 3459 Posted in Reviews, Advanced

Recoil Rebel Converted to a Squonker.

Recoil Rebel Squonker Review

It was a series of unfortunate events that lead me to the discovery that I really like the Recoil Rebel RDA set up as a squonker. I went to my local vape shop and bought a Recoil atomizer and a Recoil Rebel squonk pin. See the trouble there? I did too when I got home. This pin doesn't fit that atomizer. No problem, I went straight back to Doc's Vape Escape in Cookeville Tn and they swapped out my Recoil for a Recoil Rebel. Now I was ready to start squonking with this bad boy... as soon as I got it transferred over to a squonking atomizer and that too turned out to be a bit of a pain in the ass. Just a bit though, nothing crazy. I'm going to take you through the process in pictures here and then tell you what I think of the atomizer.

Mechanical mod with hybrid dripper.

Rig V3 and Roughneck BAMF Review

Let's get this out of the way right here off the bat. If you're a smoker wondering what this vaping thing is all about, this device isn't for you. If you're a new vaper just starting to get into rebuilding, this device is not for you. If you're an advanced vaper experienced in ohms law and battery safety, is this device for you? We're going to take a look at it and find out. What we have here is a 3 piece unit sold as a set. It's a copper mechanical tube mod with a 510 connector for use with atomizers with 510 threading. It also comes with a hybrid dripping atomizer for direct contact with the positivepost of your battery. The mod is called the Rig V3, and the atomizer is called the BAMF Roughneck. What does BAMF stand for? I'll let you figure that out while we take a look at this device.

Halo Smoke Juice

Halo E-Liquid Review.

Halo Smoke Juice

With all the talk of mods, tanks, atomizers, hybrids, and whatever else new is going on in the world of the electronic cigarette, what often gets overlooked is perhaps the most important part of the experience. You can have the best devices out there, but you're not going to get the most out of your electronic cigarette unless you have a good e-liquid. Halo Smoke Juice is not the cheapest e-liquid going, but it is one of the best on the market. It produces big clouds of vapor, carries a strong flavor, and packs a nice throat hit, the three essential ingredients of any decent e-liquid. Here are the flavors that I have tried and my thoughts about them, but first let's get into the price and where you can get them.

Mountain Oak Vapors Customer Service

They didn't do it. Nobody saw them do it. I can't prove anything.

Mountain Oak Vapors Customer Service

I recently placed an order from Mountain Oak Vapors Premium Tennessee E-Liquid in hopes of trying out some of their flavors. Those of you who follow my blogs or videos or know me from Vaper Space know that I am a fan of tobacco flavors, but my girlfriend Ramona is not. She prefers fruit and sweet flavors, so this was more for her than it was for me. I also saw that they had a better price on the Vamo than did Indy Vapor Shop so I decided to pick one of those up from them as well. The best laid plans, right?

The V-Unit From Vapow

Written by Steve Parry on Friday, 11 January 2013. Views: 42017 Posted in Reviews, Advanced

A great, inexpensive way to jump into the world of variable voltage vaping.

The V-Unit From Vapow

Thought you couldn't get a variable voltage tube mod complete with 2 batteries and a charger shipped to your front door for less than $50? Well, you were wrong. Unless, of course, shipments come to your back door. In that case you were right on a technicality. But you see where I'm going with this, right? I'm talking about the V-Unit from Vapow, the worst named electronic cigarette store on the web with the best price on version 1 lavatubes. You can check it out here on their website, and read my review below or skip straight to my video review at the bottom for those of you who don't like to read.

Save A Smoker E-Liquid Review

Trying out some flavors from the trucker approved shop in Ozark Alabama.

Save A Smoker E-Liquid Review

If you've been paying any attention, then you see that we have a vapor shop with truck parking listed in Ozark Alabama. Last week I got a load down to WalMart in Brundidge Alabama, so when I got done delivering I headed down to the Kangaroo Truck Stop in Ozark to take my break. I couldn't stop in there without going over to see our friends at Save A Smoker, and I wanted to pick up a couple of bottles of E-Liquid. The last juice I had purchased from them was in February of this year, and I only got one flavor. I decided to do a repeat on that one, and also get a couple of other flavors. Here is what I got and a quick word on them. Review video is located at the bottom of the article if you would rather just watch that.

Mistic Electronic Cigarette Review

on Saturday, 08 December 2012. Views: 44562 Posted in Reviews, Beginner

A good choice to get started out in the e-cig experience.

Mistic Electronic Cigarette Review

I got started vaping with the Njoy Npro about 4 years ago. I used that for awhile until they reformulated the product, and I decided to shop around. When the Mistic came out at the Pilot Truck Stops I decided to give it a try, and I really liked it. I used it for awhile and I was able to stop smoking in the truck altogether, although I continued to smoke cigarettes outside of the truck. I cut back from 1 1/2 to 2 packs a day all the way down to 1 pack every 3-5 days. I no longer use the product at all as I have advanced to bigger and better things in the e-cigarette world, but I do highly recommend this product for someone just starting out.

Big Government vs E Cigarettes

on Monday, 03 December 2012. Views: 57606 Posted in Reviews, Rants

FDA says Be Tobacco Free, as long as that doesn't include an e-cigarette!

Big Government vs E Cigarettes

I'm not sure what it is about the electronic cigarette that drives the anti smoking activists nuts, but I do have a few ideas. I'm sure that some of them are concerned about the potential health risks of the device, but there are a lot of behavioral choices out there that are "unproven" at best and potentially dangerous. Many of these things are not designed to replace another bad habit, but are instead an entirely new risk that is being introduced. And while you are not supposed to market electronic cigarettes as a smoking cessation device, one thing that nobody can deny is that both of these devices accomplish the same thing in different manners.

Volt CE3 Cartomizer

on Monday, 24 September 2012. Views: 45084 Posted in Intermediate, Reviews

The perfect bottom coil clearo for your 808 batteries.

Volt CE3 Cartomizer

These come in a 5 pack for around $10, and are available here at Smokeless Image. They are reusable, cleanable, and work well without burning even on the V2 battery which is 4.2 volts. They come with a filling syringe and a stupid drip tip that I threw in my neighbors garbage so nobody would think I had owned such a thing. Not to worry though, they also have a little flat tip for them, and if that doesn't suit your style than your 501 tips will fit it as well.

Smokey And The Bandwidth

A blog about trucking

Smokey And The Bandwidth

I came up with the name Smokey And The Bandwidth awhile back when I was thinking up funny and catchy names for an online community that I was building. I had decided to have a competition to name the site, and this was one of the names that I had come up with that didn't win. I liked the name, however, and after letting it sit for awhile, I decided to put it to good use. As a fan of the movie Smokey and the Bandit, I obviously mean no disrespect. I just think it is a good way to pay homage to the old school trucking while blogging our way forward into the new era.
