iTaste MVP 2.0 Review

Time to step up from those eGos.

iTaste MVP 2.0 Review

At some point in time, most vapers have owned an eGo or an Evod. Chances are they will advance to a twist or a spinner. While these are a step up, there are still some serious limitations to these devices. If you find yourself at this point and you are ready to move on, the iTaste MVP is a reasonably priced option that you might want to look into. Recently I won one of these devices in a contest over at Dirty Heathens, so I decided to do a quick review on it to get a feel for what it is all about and see if it is the next logical step in vaping. With both variable voltage and variable wattage, it has what most vapers are looking for in a device, but is it worth the money? First let's look at the specs on this device.

EonSmoke Eternity Kit Review

Written by Steve Parry on Saturday, 01 March 2014. Views: 27437 Posted in Intermediate

EonSmoke goes refillable.

EonSmoke Eternity Kit Review

Awhile back the folks over at EonSmoke asked me to review their 808 starter kit and disposable e-cigs. Since I started out with a similar kit myself I was happy to do the review. Recently they came back for another round asking me to review their new line of e-liquids. While I was happy to do so, I was unaware that they had come out with a new starter kit to go with these liquids. They included an EonSmoke Eternity kit in the package they sent me, so we will take a look at this new kit and 5 flavors from their new line of e-liquids in this review. The kit includes 1 battery, a clearomizer, and a charger. This sure beats the hell out of refilling cartomizers so let's take a look at it.

Stigx Electronic Cigarette Review

Written by Steve Parry on Thursday, 27 February 2014. Views: 15786 Posted in Intermediate

A very solid starter kit that is sure to please.

Stigx Electronic Cigarette Review

This electronic cigarette was sent to me by the folks over at Stigx. They are a company based out of the Netherlands and offer a line of eliquids and the electronic cigarette featured in this review. They advertise free shipping on all orders over $25 (I'm not sure that that applies to international shipments) and from my experience, their shipping time to the U.S. is about 5 days. The e-cig is available in black, silver, and white and the one sent to me for purposes of review is the white model. The clearomizer is eGo threaded and will not work with a standard 510 connection but the battery has both eGo and 510 threading, so standard 510 threaded devices will work with the battery.

The Curvamizer from Nhaler

Incredible new genesis atomizer from Nhaler.

The Curvamizer from Nhaler

I have never hidden the fact that I am not a fan of stainless steel mesh wicks. I do, however, like genesis style atomizers because they work great on the truck since they are not susceptible to leaking from changing elevations. Thus I have tried everything from silica wicks to cotton auto dripper builds trying to get the best performance out of these devices. Every now and then I would build another stainless wick just for shits and giggles but nothing seemed to top the performance I get out of silica wicks. Ladies and Gentlemen, the Curvamizer is a game changer. This build makes mesh wicks so easy, and they perform better than on any other genny that I have. Let's take a closer look at this thing and see why.

Indigo Vapor E-Liquid Review

The Duke, Uncle Cutty, and Duchess tobacco flavors.

Indigo Vapor E-Liquid Review

I bumped into the folks over at Indigo Vapor when I signed up over at Nu-Vapor forums and decided to give their liquids a try. Here are two flavors that I have been vaping and enjoying, and a new flavor that they recently introduced and sent me a sample of. Before we look at the flavors it is worth noting that Indigo processes and ships out orders quickly for a juice company, usually having them shipped out the day after you order. Most of the companies I order from are made to order and take anywhere from days to weeks to ship, so it is nice to have a vendor in there that you can order from in the clutch and get the juice within a week and still have solid flavors.

EVO E-Liquid Review

Testing out 3 flavors from EVO and NicoPure Labs.

EVO E-Liquid Review

Shortly after I bought my Who's Your Daddy tank from Big Daddy Vapors they began to sell Evo E-liquids and they started offering a free 10 ml bottle with each tank purchased. I missed my first shot at trying out their juice for free. No biggie. A couple of weeks ago I got a youtube message from NicoPure Labs telling me that they would like me to review their Evo Liquid. I didn't miss out on my second chance. They asked me what kind of flavors I liked and I told them mostly tobacco and occasionally fruit flavors like cherry. A week later I got a package in the mail from them with 3 bottles of liquid to review. They came, they steeped, now let's check them out.

The AGA TD Dual Coil Rebuildable Atomizer

Written by Steve Parry on Sunday, 06 October 2013. Views: 32053 Posted in Advanced

This is the beast of the AGA family.

The AGA TD Dual Coil Rebuildable Atomizer

First off let me start out by thanking the people over at My Vapor Store for this awesome atomizer. This wasn't sent to me for the purpose of a review but I did receive it free of charge. I had recently purchased the AGA T2 from the same place, and I make a helluva lot of purchases from them as they supply most of the things I need. So when I ordered my ProTank II from them I explained how I was "back door" dual coiling my T2 and would they be so kind as to comp me the TD? It never hurts to ask, right? They replied by thanking me for being a loyal customer and they informed me that they had added one to my order at no charge. So now that it is here, let's review it.

EonSmoke Electronic Cigarette Review

The 808 starter kit and disposables.

EonSmoke Electronic Cigarette Review

When the folks over at EonSmoke hit me up about reviewing their product I was put off a little at first by the prospect of reviewing this kit. It is, of course, a beginner style kit featuring 808 threaded batteries and cartomizers. What did really interest me about their product, however, was their disposable line. These are the smaller "king size" e-cigs that do not feature a rechargeable battery. They come in a small plastic case so you can use them and put them back in your pocket. This makes them a really nice option for the smoker that needs an e-cig to get them through a night at the bar or a social situation where smoking is not allowed or frowned upon. So I decided to check out there product, and here is what I found.

Phiniac Tanks Review and How To

Phiniac tanks. They work as good as they look.

Phiniac Tanks Review and How To

In the world of carto tanks there are plenty of options to choose from. I've noticed recently that even the folks over at House of Hybrids (makers of Zenesis) have gotten in on the action with the Zenesis Carto Tank Hybrid. But what separates a great tank from a piece of junk? First, it needs to be made from a material that won't break down in your liquid altering the flavor of your juice and leading to eventual cracking in your tank. It also needs to form a tight seal both around the cartomizer and the tank tube. But to be a great tank, it also needs to look good. Phiniac has mastered the art of making a great tank that performs well and looks great on your device. Let's take a look at the features.

Helio Dual Coil Dripping Atomizer

Written by Steve Parry on Saturday, 28 September 2013. Views: 29468 Posted in Advanced

Good idea, poor design.

Helio Dual Coil Dripping Atomizer

This atomizer was one I picked up for like $5 at FastTech. It is a dual coil rebuildable dripping atomizer. This means it has 3 posts (2 negative one positive) for building coils. It is made out of stainless steel and it has 3 outer air holes and one inner. It has a 510 connection and is advertised as coming prebuilt with a 1.2 ohm dual coil setup. This would mean it has 2 2.4 ohm coils. Additionally, it comes with a stainless steel drip tip and an allen wrench for the posts.

A great little decorative box mod.

The Eyebox by Nic Balz

I bumped into these mods in a forum conversation and went over to the eyebox group on facebook to check them out. I wasn't necessarily expecting to get one, but when I saw the Eyebox 79 (pictured below) I had to get it. This is a simple box mod with a horn switch on the side to fire it. There is no variable voltage or wattage or anything else to it. This particular box takes a single 18650 battery (protected battery recommended, but pictured with an IMR), but he has other boxes available in different sizes to take 18350 or 18490 batteries. He also does custom orders so you would have to check with him to see if he can build one to the dimensions for a different battery size if that is what you want.

Custom Mod Holders by 4WoodTurning

Hold your mod with a work of art.

Custom Mod Holders by 4WoodTurning

How many times has it happened to you. You're vaping and watching tv or surfing the web. You set your mod down. You reach for it and bang, it falls over. A little while later someone walks by and bumps the table and bang, it falls over. Now of course, you could find a heavy cup and set your mod in that, but that is awkward. You could buy a tatroe base but then your mod has this massive disc on the bottom of it when you go to use it. So here is a viable alternative. How about a quality made wooden mod stand that looks good enough to be a part of your living room furniture? That is what you get with the mod stands from 4 Wood Turning.

The Vamo Review

Or "The Bamboo" as it is called where I purchased it.

The Vamo Review
The Vamo, or Bamboo.

A few months back I decided to get the Zmax when the version 2 came out offering the two power modes. When I got that, I started to love my dual coil tanks again because it had the power to push those cartos to full potential. After a few months, the button started to get funky on the Zmax, and I began to worry about the device taking a dump on me while I was out on the road. I still have my Lambo 4.0 but I knew I wouldn't be satisfied with that. I wanted an AnyVape CVI, but due to the recall you couldn't get one. I was reading some good things about the Vamo and I happened to stop by Indy Vapor Shop and they had some in stock, so I picked one up from them (under the name Bamboo).

Heather's Heavenly Vapes Razzberry

on Sunday, 07 April 2013. Views: 41349 Posted in Beginner, Air Horn Liquids

This is the best e-liquid I have reviewed to date.

Heather's Heavenly Vapes Razzberry
HHV Razzberry. Your tank will thank you.

I know that Raspberry is a tough flavor to master when trying to make your own e-liquids. I have tried several different approaches to this flavor and none of them panned out for me. I have purchased Raspberry from several vendors previously, and none of them were very good. I have a friend in Maine who makes liquids and she sent me some Raspberry and it wasn't great either. On some level I had almost given up hope on getting a good quality vape in one of my favorite flavors ever, but I got a 30ml bottle of Razzberry from Heather's Heavenly Vapes so let's give this one a try before we wave the white flag, shall we? Before we look at this flavor, some apologies are in order from the video.
