I think tc mods will have to start offering SS as an option for tc otherwise they might start missing out on buyers

    Hey Guys,

Finally got one of these and I'm curious if any of you have heard of pt950 wire? Been catching posts on various sites about it every so often it consists of 95% platnum and 5% ruthenium.

So far so good with the RX200, Will post a few pics soon:)

The 250 watt upgrade is supposed to be out now. But no, I haven't heard of that wire.

really? Haven't heard of that upgrade...Have a link to it? I was just on the Wismic site and didn't see a listing for it.

I was just curious about what other types of wire are being used out there. I'll keep looking and see if I can find anything else about it.

I know aspenvalleyvapes.com had a post about it. I don't have mine at work today so I'll be doing mine when I get home.

In regards to wire I am strictly using 316L SS wire now. I did just get my 316 SS Clapton wire from fast tech so I'll be trying that out tonight as well

Thanks @Yankifenix I will look into that. Hmmm, I was just thinking about trying the Claptons in both SS and TI, However, I did have a chance to try SS in power mode and was VERY less than impressed with it, Perhaps it will fare better in Tc mode? So far I am really liking the RX200, I did find that the programmed Ti mode was a little weak so I opted to use it in TCR mode set @ 385 @ 430 degrees. from what I have found out so far that using it in TCR mode it has an almost infinite amount of settings with just about any type of wire which is great as it will give you a very fine tune "dial in" and drive you crazy trying to find it.......lol

P.S let me know how well the SS claptons work out for you when you get the chance to play with them. ( I think this is why I am having a hard time getting the best out of the Veritas on it as I have become used to the characteristics of the Kanthal Claptons on my other device)

Oh and I plan to use them in TC mode. That is why I wanted this wire specifically.

well its all wicked and primed. the wire I think has a bit of a breaking in period. I am using a juice I am REAL familiar with and it's different right now. I'll post more about it in about an hour when I have vaped it more.

BTW, I picked one up today for the new tank. For those that have one, this will give you an idea of the size of the tank. It does slightly overhang the front of the mod.

I was curious about the balanced charging on the RX200 so I charged 2 of the batteries externally and did not charge the 3rd. It was at 3.56 volts from manufacturer. When I put the batteries in it showed a low battery, and when I plugged in the charger it said "Imbalanced Charging" and then went to a charging error and didn't try to charge it. That makes me comfortable with charging the batteries internally.

that's the only way I've been charging mine. The first update they did made this process more stable so when I got mine I knew I would be doing it that way, but I did perform a similar test. Oh and I did the update last night and mine now goes to 250 watts, not that I'll ever use it.
