I just picked up one of these in a trade. Dude got it and didn't like it, he wanted a 100 watt mod and I had one sitting around so we swapped. It's nice. It's the racing yellow. It's alright so far. Funny thing though. The tank has been dry for about 30 mins now and I'm still getting vapor. No flavor. None. But vapor. I'm gonna switch flavors now. I'll give more thoughts later. Just tripping on this vaping nothing.

When TC first came out, the dripper crowd was going nuts over it. It didn't really seem to start kicking in for the larger segment of the vaping population until the tank manufacturers started producing TC coils.

I watched a long video out together by a bunch of reviewers (VP lLive or some such) talking about the DNA 40 and their experiences with TC. The Armed Vaper appears to have hit the nail on the head... TC is a royal pita for drippers. He didn't "like" TC until Vaporshark put out TC Nautilus heads. To paraphrase... "It took Vaporshark to figure out Temperature Control".

By and large I've gone back to Kanthal vaping since I mostly squonk. Nickel wire is too soft. Titanium wire is easier to build with than Nickel, but you've GOT to clean your builds regularly! There is no "dry burning" since nickel and titanium give off "bad stuff" when the wire is heated to glowing.

Tanks seem to be the future of TC which is good, IMO, cause less advanced vapors can get the benefits. Lots of reviewers predicted that in the early days of TC.

Think I'm gonna order some TC heads for the Smok VCT tanks and see how it performs.

I haven't tried a dripper. The tanks are okay. I dunno. It lacks the intensity of kanthal.

I'm vaping JFK in both this mod with the eGo ONE tank and in my Zephyrus tank. I've noticed the TC is a much dryer vape. I'm not sure if that is related to the TC or to the tank.

Another plus. This works as a true passthrough. I vaped the battery completely dead then plugged it in the charger. I immediately attempted to fire it and it vaped right away at full strength.

That's what it says. I have no way of verifying that but the battery does last pretty long.

I did finally bite on some TCT coils for the Smok VCT. I'll be trying them on a iPV with "joule" adjustment (vs Temperature/Wattage on a DNA).

I'll share my impressions on the differences.

Picked one up off another forum back in November, finally getting the hang of tc. Didn't really use the ego one mega tank much though, started using drippers at first for tc but it really is a pita, now have a subtank plus and billow v2 that I use for it. Really dig the billow v2 with Ti wire though, part of daily rotation especially since the reos been down(mainly for driving can't drop and drive lol) [IMG]

I won't buy a regulated device now if it doesn't have TC on it.

I'm in between on temp control, it's nice at times but frustrating others, but I'm also still messing around trying to find my sweet spot

I wanted the white and blue one too but I got mine in a trade so... What do you think of the battery life on it @Trickydick666? I was pretty impressed.
